A team of Multimedia Engineering students building AstroSync, a 3D planetarium for observing stars, planets, and constellations

Who are we?

A multidisciplinary team of Multimedia Engineering students, with profiles in development, design, and user experience. We work from the University of Alicante with the support of our academic tutors.

What is our purpose?

To bring astronomy closer to more people through a digital tool that combines exploration, self-directed learning, and community. We believe looking at the sky should be as intuitive as it is inspiring.

What are we working on?

We are developing AstroSync: a 3D web planetarium that allows you to observe the sky in real time, plan astronomical outings, learn with a specialized chatbot, and share discoveries with other enthusiasts.

Our work process

01.

Discover

We research the real needs of educators and astronomy enthusiasts.

02.

Define

We prioritize key functionalities: What solves a real problem?

03.

Design

We create interface prototypes and user flows, always thinking about accessibility.

04.

Develop

We program the 3D planetarium, the chatbot, and the community system with modern web technologies.

05.

Demonstrate

We test with real users and gather feedback.

06.

Disseminate

We share progress, document the process, and open the platform to the community.
